After Bruce Anderson worked at an insurance defense law firm before law school, attended law school at Lewis and Clark College of Law in Portland, and worked as an associate attorney at a Lake Oswego law firm for several years, practicing law in the Oregon metro area (Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties), he and his wife Katy founded Anderson Law Office in La Grande, Oregon in February, 1986.
Over the past 33 years, Bruce has practiced law in the subject areas of personal injury, criminal defense, civil litigation and appeals, bankruptcy (debtor and creditor), landlord/tenant, real estate, estate planning/probate/wills/trusts, and family law. His current practice has emphasized family law, estate planning and administration, real estate, and general civil litigation. He has expanded his legal services to include arbitration and mediation for groups in conflict, in addition to advocacy for individuals in conflict with their adversaries. He subscribes to a problem-solving philosophy in all aspects of his legal work.
